Hello, I'm Maria Stefania or Stef, a First Year student at NHL Stenden majoring in Communication and Multimedia Design and before I graduated at Traian Theoretical Highschool in Programming and Math. One of my proudest works, this animatic was made for the Filmmic 2024, a national film festival, on the theme of "Lost in the Rhythm". With this work, I explored the process behind an artist using the original song of the same name by Will Stetson that perfectly presents the life, the struggles and the overall good and bad of being a creative. The entire work, editing, and art was made by me, and the project won Third place in the contest.
Vin si Pastile was a work that was comissioned by a close friend of mine, who payed for me to create a visual to one of their favorite songs. I drew inspiration from my own life and I tried to present the atmosphere and lyrics of the song with the dark aesthetic. The entire project, editing and artwork was made by me.
This project was another comission by a close aquaintance who wanted a visual to a song by this artist. I chose this song for its great story-telling and lyricism and made the visual follow the story of the song, with the characters being based on the person's wishes. The entire project was made by me.
This project was created for an assignment in school to make a presentation about a historic german location already given to us. Me and my teammate chose to work with a video project to make a more unique and interesting work rather than the usual powerpoint presentations. The video showcases information about the object in a quick and to-the-point manner. Editing and artwork was done by me, the voice-over and script was made by my teammate.
An illustrated video presentation about a famous scary movie made for a highschool assignment. It presents in a light-hearted manner the genre, film, characters and the book vs film. I've worked on the script, narration, artwork and editing, while my teammates narrated and did the video-acting segment.
My first ever illustrated presentation for highschool, it was an assignment graded based on originality of the presentation, as all teams had the same topic. We chose to do this half-film half-illustration project to captivate and retain attention as well as showcase our abilities. I've worked on half of the artwork, editing and script-writing while my teammates recorded, narrated and helped with artwork.
Another illustrated presentation for highschool, this time on the theme of British Royals already given to us. The video showcases all the relevant information about the life of the said royalsm, presented in a dynamic matter including segments of narrated diary entries for Queen Victoria. I worked on the editing, half of the artwork, script and narration while my teammates did the videography, other half of artwork and narration.
A project assigned to us during our 10 Design Challenges at University, where we had to do a small and short interview, asking strangers one question. I worked on the editing of this project while my teammates worked on interviewing and videography.
Unlike the previous entry, this wasn't part of the assignment but a request by my teammates to include our extra-cuts in a funny short-clip. The clip is edited by me and it showcases my ability to edit both professional and also light-hearted comedic videos.
Another project from our University's 10 Design Challenges, this time a Stop-Motion animation on the theme of "The secret life of trash". I worked with my teammate to tell a short but memorable story of cleaning up after oneself to spread a good message. I worked on the storyboards, editing and taking photos while my teammate worked on moving the objects and animating.

A university project based in the Film studio where we had to create a 15 minute video on the theme of Student Life. I played the host in this video, interviewing fellow classmates and presenting our talk show. I was also an editor behind a couple of the interviews, working and learning from my other colleagues in the process..
This poster was created for our first design project at University to present our theme of The Skene Brothers and the 06 telephone lines. It showcases a semi-nude woman in a fluid motion with simple graphical elements and following the color scheme of the project, with the intention to capture attention and curiosity and draw the target group to the project.

I sketched and drew the letters of the artist's name using elements that fit her image and style (musical elements, wine bottle from music lyrics) and I kept the rest simple as to highlight the work that went into the custom-text.
